Ariana Stewart is the CEO of a billion-dollar investment firm and a loving mother. She is also the Diavolessa, a ruthless assassin leading a multi-generational mission to destroy organized crime around the world. As the FBI and crime cartels close in on her and her team, she struggles to reconcile whether the lives she saves justify the lives she takes. After her family is attacked, she has to choose whether to complete her mission or save her family.
The story opens with such fantastic visuals that it is hard to imagine this NOT being a movie at some point. I'm rooting for Ariana to succeed!
It's such a complex book. It's amazing how the different themes are woven together. Ariana is a complex character that I sympathize more with as I get deeper into the book
A cracking pace, with complex characters and motivations. It feels like a mix between The Fugitive, Point Break and Killing Eve. An ending that will make you go "Wow" and begging for a sequel.
